Last weekend I was in Taupo with friends who wanted to do the bunjy jump there & they asked if I could photograph them doing it. These are the test shots I used to try to work out how to do it. The photographs were taken from a viewing platform quite some distance from the jumpers. I was also testing out my new zoom lense.

great pics, but I would really like to see one wideangle that shows the plattform an all the way down to the lake.. I'm a bungy fan myself and I just love to see how high it is :)

137 jumps, no injury.. knock on wood.. hopfully not with my head ;)

The height from the platform to the water is 47 metres. Sorry I dont know what that is in feet but when your standing on the edge of that platform, it's a lot :)

I did want to use a wide angle lens for that very reason to get it all in but because of how far I was from the jumping I had the 90-300mm on the camera. Most of those photographs were taken on 300mm or close to it

there is absolutely no way while my bum points to the ground that i would on purpose jump off a bridge. :)
Great pics though. :)

Actuallty when you leave the platform, your bum is facing up. Looking forward to seeing you on the end of that rope Lisa :))

I'm so scared of heights, that makes me woozy just looking at the pics. ;/ You can jump for me.
