Can anyone think of a good reason not to use a video light i.e. a light designed to be used with home video cameras as a light source for digital still shots? They seem to be a lot cheaper than specialised photographic lights.

The one I saw was 300W with diffuser and barndoors. 3200K. They also had a 1000W model.
