There were SO many GREAT shots for the silhouette challenge...and so many great outtakes too! I know I was torn between two trying to decide which to submit.

I had the hardest time deciding...and I'm sure hundreds of others did too! So stick your first and second choice up here and lets see if we made the right call!

At the very least we might gain some insight as to the minds of voters...

I think the second shot you had would have done well if you could have been very low to the ground - maybe you were but the photo doesn't show it - :( Great sky in both for sure!

You made the right call. I gave it a 7 and really like the colors. It finished very well in a very competitive challenge! Congrats on a personal best.

Thanks! I was more than pleased with the results of the challenge!! It had just been a hard choice cause I thought the tractor sillhouette was a little more interesting. But I polled a group of friends (non DPCers) and they said they like the telephone polls better. Wish I didn't live SMACK DAB in the middle of Illinois, and was perhaps somewhere with a beach instead...but farm equipment and telephone poles is mostly what we've got ;-)
