This is my first shot purposely including a person. For some reason taking pics of people, especially ones I don't know kinda intimidates me. This was the daughter of a member of a photography group I am involved with. We had a GTG at a science museum and there was a large stegosaurus out front, and she was climbing on it, so I HAD to take the shot. Comments? criticisms? spelling fixes? :)

Well done. The steggy spines create an interesting frame around the girl. I wish the spines weren't intruding on the left side of the girl's head, but that's a minor technical detail that could be fixed with better composition, by moving to the right a bit. Good job for a first attempt. :)

Nice shot! I tend to stay away from people shots too. I almost never photograph people. This shot is very nicely framed though and the center of focus is perfect. You should be glad you took it!

Thanks for the comments, I agree about the spike through the head thing, but it was spur of the moment, not a whole lot of time for composition....
