These were taken this morning, was thinking about using the 2x converter, but these seem good. Any thoughts?
100% crop

100% crop then slight resize down, was to big.

Another example of 100% crop an no other processing, except save for web

Why do I keep looking at shots like this?
I know - because they are great and I like to punish myself because there's no way I can shoot with this kind of clarity.

Wonderful shots. I agree the flight shot is great.
I wonder if a 2x converter could have helped on these young Long-eared Owls. I might have been able to get past some branches. Not the same birds, there were five young.  |

i see them - but usually it's a fleeting moment.
patience only goes as far as: work allows - home stuff - weather =...
