Reading the forums it seems there have been a rash of camera failures lately. Mine included - my Mavica decided it didn't want to format CD's anymore. I got pissed at it and called it a 'stupid camera' and it decided it didn't want to focus anymore. So I did the next best thing to stomping on it - I bought a new camera. I get it soon (Originally thought Monday but just got a call and it won't until June 2), ordered and paid for, am very excited to get back to SLR and very excited about the new cam - Canon EOS 20D.

Now I am on a quest for lenses.

Sorry for your loss. :) However sounds like you've really traded up!! Congrats.

congrats on the new camera ( of course it would be my dream camera! ;P..) My Z1 isnt much but it's all i have right now...i just hope its not contagous(sp?...sorry i know thats not right...but im too lazy to look it up right now) *grabs her camera and throws a medical mask on it* and says"there now it wont get sick" :o)
