I have been doing some portrait photography for friends and am thinking of doing a bit as a side business. I was wondering if anyone knows of a sight where I can upload photos and print multiple copies on a single sheet like you would purchase at a studio. It is important to me that the quality be equivalent to those I have printed with DPCPrints. I can continue to use DPCPrints for a while, but I have almost reached my storage limit. It would also be great if people could purchase for themselves from the site as with DPCPrints. Anyone have suggestions?

Have you used this site yourself?
If so, have you any experience with the associated photo labs?

Sorry but I have not used them but I know they seem to be very popular. I print most of my own, but I am looking for someone to make large prints. Photoreflect wouldn't work for me because I dont have high speed internet. It would take a week to upload one event on dial up.

Have you checked with Epperson Photos in OKC. I got a 1 Foot by 6 foot print from them for $64 on Pearl paper. Pretty reasonable. I'm not sure but I think you can do it online also. www.eppersonphoto.com

You might wantto take a look at Mpix, I've used them for many occasions and they are excellent. I can upload images to their site and there doesn't seem to be any limitations. I've easily uploaded over 100MB of data at one time.

Not sure if they offer a service as to what you mentioned, "print multiple copies on a single sheet". They do make proof portfolio's and there prices are very reasonable. The largest print they make is 20"x30". I believe it costs $25.00. They only print on KODAK Professional paper. A big PLUS for me. For some reason, most people I deal with seem to like that.

I love mpix! They aren't the cheapest, but no where does as good a job for cheaper.

Just yesterday I ordered $185 worth of photos from Mpix, including 61 metallic prints. I can't wait to see those.

Edit: As for having multiple prints on a sheet, I'd recommend using Photoshop, resize the canvas and duplicate the photo layer, organize it on the canvas and then order a big print from mpix. They won't print multiple copies on a sheet, I'm not sure anyone would. Just send them a big file with the picture tiled, might wanna upload it somewhere that has broadband though, might take a while...

My biggest complaints about Mpix: $5 shipping (only $1 at Winkflash), only one paper type per order (had to make two seperate orders yesterday--$10 shipping--but then Winkflash only has one paper period!), and the website is really slow. Also, when choosing print sizes and quantities you have to go to a seperate page which is very slow and time consuming. I'd use Winkflash if they printed Kodak Pro.
