This is really not related to photography necessarily. I was trying to create a "tutorial" for a friend of mine learning PS. I wanted to put a "copy" of the screen in the tutorial to show him what I meant.. like many of the tutorials here have. However, I have no idea how to get a copy of the "screen" into a tutorial. Anyone know how to do that?

There is a key on the keyboard above "Insert" called "PrintScreen" press that then open any photo editor and "paste" and select the portion of the screen that you want.

on a PC there is a print screen button/key on the keyboard. it will put a compy of the screen (the whole thing) on teh clipboard. you can then paste it.
either shift of control print screen does the active window only. |

If you press ALT+PrintScreen it only copies the active window, which means less fiddling around with the pasted image. You can paste directly into MS Office applications (well, MS Word, at least).
