Anybody using one? I'm planning to buy one but I don't exactly know which one to buy. Does it really improve recycling time? I'm checking out the Compact Battery pack CP-E3 from Canon. Other than this what would you recommend?

Thanks.

I use the CPE2 and, yes it does seem to recycle faster. But the main advantage for me is not having to worry about draining batteries nearly so fast - which really does slow the recycle time

I carry 4 extra sets of freshly charged batteries with me during event photoshoots. I usually change batteries three times in the course of a four-hour event because I find that the recycle time is longer and I don't wanna miss any shots (which I have because it took too long for it to be ready). A battery pack seems to be the solution, no changing of batteries in the middle of a shoot and recycle times are shorter.

The Quantum that doctornick posted is what I use and I am very happy with the results. I can pop the flash for a whole day of shooting with fast recycle times.
