Very nice all-around portfolio, Kelly.

Thanks Lori!

I have not yet used special lighting in my photography or participated in any challenges yet. I'm a little confused about how much photo editing can be used in them. Some challenges you can, some you can't?

I love your ability to capture shadows and soft lighting effects. This is probably my weakest point.

Welcome to dpchallenge Kelly. Beware - this site can be very addictive, but you'll learn lots. I have been here since 2002, and while I don't participate in the challenges much anymore (too busy), I haunt the forums very much to see what else I can learn.

I browsed through your portfolio, and left some comments. For a beginner, you are doing very well. You have very obviously mastered the focussing technique - everything is so crisp and clear! Hope to see more of your work soon!

Regards,
Linda

Just what I need....another addiction! LOL

Yes, I can see that. Its the first forum I check when I get up in the morning. I belong to an Aquarium forum also. (Avid fishkeeper).

I am hoping to learn more abstract and interesting techniques as well as beef up my photoshop skills.
