...that said (and under those conditions) I would spend away. BTW, if it was IN a geocache, did you leave anything in return? Thems the rules ya know.

yeah of course i left something...an IOU. Perhaps a Thank You card would have been more appropriate.

PM me for my p.o. box, as I am anxiously awaiting it's safe return.

Thanks in advance,

I'll fax it right over. Quicker that way.

If you seriously found a bag of money, go spend it. Spend it slowly, sort of as supplemental income. I know I could, at the very least, pay my comcast and sprint bills each month in cash. Nothing like free cable, internet and cell phone for a year or two.

Smile, thank God, and move on.

I had free cable for four years... I never asked for it. They found out last november. That was surrrrre sweet.

I already get free cable - and they know about it.
I had a satellite set up and basic cable for the local channels. I addded the cable internet and the installer told me 'we have to remove a filter to ltet eth internet signal in. it will let in the otehr cable channels too. we know it, but cannot charge you for it since you didn't ask for it"

Canceled the dish a month later.

Been 4+ years now...

it would be hard for me to keep it. as bad as i need the money, it might belong to someone that needs it a lot more than me.

The one time I found money it was $300 US and I tirned it in to the grocery store where I found it. I thought it was from one of the cash registers. 60 days later they called me and said that nobody claimed it and it was mine to pick up and do with as I pleased. I think that if I found that much money I'd turn it into the police. I think you'd get it back if unclaimed (but they'd probably mark it down that you now had extra "income" and then you'd probably have to report it to the IRS. But at least my concionce (sp?) would be clear.
