Do you people sometimes stop and stare at your camera and just admire the beauty of it, or is it just me who is crazy!?!
I love taking photos of cameras and expecially looking at the camera and how it sits with the diferent lenses... I really don't put it on a shelf or something to admire the camera but sometimes a like to look at it standing on the tripod... Since the camera is always on my tripod on my bedroom...
I just bought some gadgets and have been admiring the camera. I even took some pictures of the camera and all the equipment i have until now...
Hope this doesn't sound funny... hope i am not the only one... HEHE

Oh no, you're not crazy. I pick up, fondle, hug, hold, stare at, talk to, caress, and baby my camera every chance I get :)

You're probably not the only one in love with his equipment. I admire the length and girth of mine, not to mention its silky smooth feel and heft. The fact that it gets longer as well when I need it is extremely useful and impressive to other people. And although I've never been paid money to use it, I get a nice, warm satisfaction-like feeling whenever some stranger comes along and says: "Wow, with equipment like that, you must be a pro."
I'm talking about my 24-70 lens.

I too love to look at my Sony f707 and i still think it is a beautiful camera so you can post your point and shoot shots of your camera.

I took this the day I got my Pentax.. a quick shot of glee (no technicals needed).. Looks like you and I have the same lens there kpriest. (albeit for different mounts)

Looks better with the battery grip
and offset converter support though:
Add the off-camera flash and grip
and it's one beast to hold after a while...
(no pic though - gotta' work on that) |

WOW this is really big... My camera only with the flash power grip and 90300mm lens is already heavy i imagine this...
It would be nice to see it with the extras... power grip and flash...
As you said you'll work on that i will be waiting.

| I don't stare at my camera all that much, but I look at pictures of the 20d and drool over it almost daily! I hope to own one myself in the near future. Ok.. I better stop before I make my Kodak jealous!! |

Guess not a camera fetish but there are certain objects that are just wonderful to look at... For example i can pass hours looking at planes for me they are just beautiful things to look at...
And cameras it's the same thing i like the way some look...
