Yesterday, while we were feeding the geese and ducks on a pond in Salida, Colorado there was a goose with a dreadful tumor under its beak. It didn't seem to be in pain but had to hold its head kind of sideways to swallow.
It seemed cruel to not do anything about it but I just didn't know what to do. We don't live in Salida so I don't know whom to contact to see if they could catch the goose and take it to a vet.
What do all of you do if you see something like this and would like to help? Is it best just to let nature take its course? (My husband thinks so.) |

That is very sad. I would probably just let nature run its course like your husband said.
