WOW, I thought I was not going to do so well this go round with my submission


but this rocks, 3rd place.... thanks to all who voted for my image!!!
I actually had 2 other shots edited and ready to go (of the same bird) but his head was more in the hole. Then I found this shot in the start of the series I took that day (100 or so shots). Its not focused well (thank good ness for the sharpening tool), Im not happy with the colors and some blown highlights. I had to stand on a rock with my mono pod fully extended so I could get the shot, lots of branches in the way.

Now if the challenge would have been inside looking out, I wol dhave had that coverd also.
