| I've been lurking for quite some time, and submitted my first photo. I think this is going to be addicting. I'll be happy with anything except last place, but even if I get that, the only place from there is up, right? |

Well welcome to joining the party. It can be addicting. Sometimes you have to force yourself to take pictures. But all in all it is a good experience and practice. I had to rethink what photography was. Entered 4-5 challeneges so far...and takes a bit to understand what you want to do with each.
Good luck and I will be th elast for the next few challenges. |

Now that's a positive attitude!! :-) Best of luck to you in the challenge. Just know that your life has been changed forever now that you've joined into the madness. ;-)

Just wait until the voting is done! Even if you end up with Last Place, you'll be able to see exactly how your votes broke down. My first Challenge placed me in the bottom 5%. The second ranked me at the bottom 30% line. Not exactly a stellar performance.
But, the most exciting part was to note that one person gave me a 10!!!and another 14 thought my picture rated a 7, 8, and 9. (one of them even marked me as a favorite photographer.) That was a soul-stroking moment - when I realized that other photographers actually loved what I created as much as I did! |

| Have fun, it does force you to take photos. That is the best thing about it. Develope your own style, and work on it. |
