		| | what does "OOF" mean? this is my first time using a digital camera.. i have dreaded learning about the trade so if anyone has any helpful hint or suggestions i would be greatful. |

		| | OOF = out of focus 
 DOF = depth of field
 
 USM = ultrasonic motor (on a camera) or unsharp mask (in photoshop)
 
 dSLR = digital single lens reflex (camera type)
 
 those come to mind LOL
