"The new game console will include three 3.2-gigahertz PowerPC microprocessors under the hood -- what Jeff Karp, vice president of marketing at Electronic Arts Inc., called about 10 times the power of the original Xbox."
That's some serious power for a gaming console, good lord..

Have you see the screen shots for the new Madden game on the Xbox 360?
I don't know if it's a CG movie or actual gameplay footage, but if it turns out to be actual gameplay footage...

I'd say that the price will be roughly $299 - $349. It has alot more features than the 1st XBOX and that started at $299 when it was released. It may be less than $299, but they will probably not include a 2nd controller. They will probably algo get everyone on the accessories, like a High Def cable kit, etc. The games also may be a little more expensive due to the fact that they are being formatted for High Def.
Ultimately, the price will have to be competitive if they expect to beat the Playstation anytime soon. |

Huh beat playstation, Sony will have to counter this one to stay in the game..
The coders are doing amazing stuff with the original box...Check out Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory...
The new box has way to much horse power...haven't heard anything but wish they would (might) have put some DVR features in it...I know it will be streaming Media Center PC stuff but to rip TV shows would be nice. Video Conferencing and Spectator Mode for games on-live will be way cool.
