My day started off doing my work thing and lead to a train derailment. Here are a few highlights of a good photo day. All shot with my 75-300mm. Hope you enjoy them.

Western Grebe
Clark's Grebe
Yellow-headed Blackbird eating Chronomids
Peregrine fly over

Common Baskettail
Melissa Blues
Gorgone Checkerspot

22 Grain cars derailed

What kind of lens did you use?

hey I really like that last one of the trains, the red and green look great. nice shots, all of them.

Peter, I used at 75-300mm Tameron on my D70, Thanks for the comments. The blackbird was surrounded by thousands of midges, I didn't know they had showed up on the shot until I downloaded the disc. Van
