I like the B&W.. with the rain on the Gardner it adds to the orange color which i find to take away from the rest of the photo.
I noticed you got the Nikon sign in this. and the car billboard is way too bright.
I do like where you took the photo from as it shows the skyline very nicely!

Black and white definitely. I don't like the hues of the colour one, the lights seem murky/dirty because of the rain.
Edit: sheesh she is fast

lol I'm doing more to post as we speak. Thanks for commenting. If you get the chance to go you can actually stop right on the gardiner at the DVP exit. AMAZING location.

i got a notice that we may get northern lights either tonight or tomorrow night.... heading north of town sounds like it may be a good idea tonight.

Hmm maybe i'll go to the drive in instead. If there are no lights, still
have a movie, if there are lights, still in a rural area.
I'm having trouble typing, it is far too early. |

Again, I like the B&W phots for each setting, they're clear and crisp with a lot of detail and you notice whats in it. The blue is distracting on both of the photos. |

A friend is going to a car junk lot - so I invited myself as I've never been to one and sounds like it might be a potential photo op. GHe works nights, so this is late for him and very early for me. |

Sorry Kevin, not trying to hijack your thread.
The second one I prefer the B & W but the colour is close. The first picture I'm not really a fan of either verion. There's not really anything to focus on the shot and my eye wanders all over. The CN tower does get the eyes attention, but because it is in the background and competing with the pole, it doesn't keep your attention. It just seems kinda messy. If that makes sense. Sorry it's early and it takes me awhile to wake up. |

I like the black and white ones better, like the previous comments, I think that the lights are a little murky, and the black and white conversion mitigates that to some extent. The blue color in the second is a very nice color though! |
