I was going to search rather than start a new thread, because I'll bet there's another like this out there, but being that the search is disabled, I can't. I'm trying to get a recent (not meaning most recent) copy of Photoshop for my PC. How can I do that for fairly cheap?

I see you're 16, so I assume you're a student. You can get the latest and greatest, Photoshop CS2 for about $299. the next alternative would be to pick up an unregistered copy of maybe 6.0 or 7.0 on e-bay, that should be cheaper yet, but in the long run, if you want to upgrade, it may be sunk money.
There also was a recent offer to upgrade from the version of Elements that came with your Canon camera to the full version for about the same as the educational version. I don't recall the details on purchase date requirements.
