I don't know if this has been suggested before but I think it would be a very good idea to have a Junior Member section so kid's can get involved in the site and learn and develop skills at the youngest age possible, I'm thinking about 8 year old onwards.
The juniors could compete in there own competitions instead of the current situation where if they are thirteen they can compete in an open section.
I don't know what the barriers are for this to happen and haven't given it a lot of thought other then the fact my ten year old son is very upset that he can't compete.
I have just thrown this up for further input and comment and to here what other members think of this.

Your 10 year old son can compete. You just need to sign a waiver giving your permission :)
There are also links to threads you may find useful.

Thanks Ben
That's great will just need to get hold of the waiver.I still think if the numbers were there they should compete in seperate challenges or at least have one seperate challenge per year.
