I took these on a recent trip to a local sand dune here in Bolivia. One of them is a reworked version of my minimalism entry. Let me know what you think.

I'll try again. Any thoughts?

Hi, I think the pictures are great. Maybe you could use a little more contrast, but that can be done in photoshop. The last one is my favorite, I like the pattern of the water against the sand.

Again Good Job

The last one is quite nice with potential for even more with a little post-processing.

1st, 3rd and last are my favorites of the bunch. The first for the great color of sky and how it compliments the dunes and the added intrest of the grasses.

The third, I'm not quite sure why. I guess because how the sky relates to the ground and the enormoust presence of the beautiful clouds. I really like minimal landscapes like this.

And the thrid just for the composition of it. Very nice lines and curves it's just interesting to study.

The things I don't like about the other two... the tree in the second looks a little odd like it's been doged a little too much and the clouds look just a touch unnatural. And the other one just doesn't hold as much interest to me as the others and some parts of the sky seem a bit blown out. Overall though, they are really nice photographs. I especially enjoy landscapes with nice cloudscapes to them. Just out of curiosity, have you tried any in b&w, especially the first one? I know some people don't think landscapes should be b&W but it might turn out interesting. They do look lovely in color, but that one might be nice to play with in B&W. Just a thought :-)

I hope you retain your style and vision. I think it is so refreshing and sparkling.

Thanks everyone for your great comments. In response to Jenesis, yes I have done the first one in b/w. But I'm not sure I like the grass in the forground. I'll put it outthere for everyone to see.

Yeah, you're right. The sky looks great as does the lake (?) in the background but the grass and forground does lose alot in the conversion. I checked out your portfolio and your color work is great. Very vibrant stuff. I guess I tend to go B&W so much because it's hard for me to get good colors sometimes. But you've got it down. I also like your original Minimalism shot better. It has more contrast and vibrancy as opposed to your reworked one but that's just my little opinion. :-)
