Does anyone know about NYI? I really would like to do a photography course but where I live there is no course I am able to attend while working fulltime :(
Has anyone heard about NYI? Or does anyone know a great online course for photography?

I too live in an area where a photography course isnt available within a 500 mile radius!NYI does have a mail course..my sister in law has all the books and i got to "take the course" for free thru her. I think its $100 payment a month(per lesson), they send new lesson when they recieve ur payment. they seem to be pretty good literature. the first lesson is real boaring because its based on a person who has never even seen a camera before :o) Cher

Thanks for the quick response Cher! :)
Just wanted to make sure they are serious before giving them my money :)
I am sure the first course doesn't give too much information as they give you a free trial using the first lesson material :)

free photography course online
just wanted to make sure it was seen...but NYI is best if ur looking for more formal training. ur introductory "welcome" packet comes with a "press" badge, box to keep ur lessons in, some binders i think....i cant remember what else she got but the lessons are good if u can make it past the first few.
