hi im kinda new to this site and am enjoying it thus far. i entered the late night challenge with mediocre results, but it was great to see what people thought of my shot. any-who, i took these shots of flowers from my moms garden and photoshoped and framed them for mothers day. i just want to know what everyone thinks of them. any feedback is appreciated. keep in mind that this was my first time editing any photos with photoshop or anyother program and i am just starting out with this whole digital photography thing....thanks

| I'm no fan of florals, and I'm no authority either BUT I think these images are very apealling, I did not spend to much time analysing the pictures but I did find that the overall mood of each artworks was fabulous. |

thank you. im not a fan of floral pics either but i did it as a project for a gift so.... thanks for the feedback |

ok...I am going to give ya my opinion...i have looked at all of them...here goes nuffin:
pink: i like alot...good BG color to compliment the chosen flower
peach: good BG color here too...only thing i might have done different is to move the flower into the upper corner a tad more and rotate slightly to give it a triangle feel
"pink flowers to border done": i feel the BG color chosen doenst do the flower justice...i would've gone with probably a pale yellow to highlight the blossems...flower is also soft
purple flower: leaves are distracting and i would've ommited them all together, BG is too close to flower color..i would've made the background a lighter shade to make the flower pop.
yellow:again the BG color is the same as the flower..i might have chosen an orange( that matches the center of the flower) to make this one pop for me.soft focus on this one too
overall i think u did a great job on all of them!please remember...this is just my opinion. and opinions vary. hope this helps ya some

thank you very much on the opinion. i chose the background colors from samples of colors found on the actual photo of the flower. some do look better in my opinion, but i thought it was a unique way to do the background. some of the flowers arent photographed as well as id like,my camera isnt so great with close up "macro" type pics. thanks again |
