I was looking around trying to find what i should do with my old digital camera when i stumbled across Operation Photo. It is a program where you donate older (but still working) digital cameras to families that have been left behind by soldiers on the front lines. After reading through the program i decided to donate my camera to help another family. Here are the links if anyone is interested

im not trying to be mean it is just that i have a few friends that have had to go overseas and i know how hard it can be on a family. the family that i donated to was one where the soldier's daughter was born while he was on tour. i think that it is very very important for a father to be able to see his daughter grow and develop.

i think that the charity that you listed is a great idea, and had i not found operation photo, it would have been the destination of my old toshiba!

im trying to get something together at where i work (selling digital cameras) where i can have some information on what you cn do with your old camera since many people are just upgrading their camera to get more resolution and things like that. Their old cameras just sit on come shelf and collect dust. i have already discussed it with store, district, and regional staff, and am awaiting a response

edit: i will let you know what happens so i can possibly get a handout or form about your site to give to customers
