I have a hard time keeping her out of it!I really like these pictures but does anyone have any ideas on how to improve on these?

I guess a higher iso would give less motion blur in the first!

i have no idea how to improve them, ;p but i just love the first one. What a cute dog :)

Thanks Lisa, her name is Maggie and she̢۪s going on ten! She gets me of the couch taking her for long walks in the woods!;-)

what sort of dog is she?

She is an American Golden Retriever which is smaller than the British Golden and darker in color. She is well known by all the kids in the neighbourhood due to her extreme freindlyness, lol!

they are much like our labradors. Very friendly, we use them for guide dogs, do you guys do that too?

Yes the Canadian guide dog institute is in Manotic Ontario! Very close to where Ray Ethier and I live.Labs and Goldens tend to be the most sucessful at this!

Back to the picture . . .

I may want to suggest this:

Out of the water shake

slower speed (1/60 - 1/15)

Back light with the exposure 1 stop less than the highlight

Frame it not too cropped so you can have the effect of the droplet
