I have the opposite problem... plenty of ideas, but no time to shoot. |

I am having serious doubts about my entry. I think I will get average to lower scores because voters will feel I did not try as hard.
Just will have to wait and see. I cannot keep secrets. Does anyone else just wanna blab about how they did their entry or is it just me?
Here are some idea's (yeah hurry and rush and change your hard worked entry for this rushed idea of mine). Candy Corn....Light Prisim....of course most bridges have triangular supports. |

sounds like you won't be using your ideas :)
... the only proper thing to do is e-mail me all your thoughts
:)

The brown has been booked and paid for in advance by yours truely so dont bother going for the brown cos its MINE......MINE I TELL YA!!!... My triangle entry is so bad it looks like a frog in fact it is a frog filled with fluro green stuff that has so much DOF it looks brown so give it up....THE BROWN IS MINE>>
But we all know that some talented photographer with a 0.32MP mavica and 1/2 a brain cell will win brown again or a webcam entry from a cat with basic PC skills OR.... the ever so talented Charlibaker or the fantastic Jacko with another ANGRY KITTY READY FOR A SCRATCH YOUR EYES..
I am going to pull my entry right now I GIVE UP TOO!!!. |
see if you pull yours mine indeed wil be the brown'est
my image of a scanned brick will make you regurgitate
ooops .. i gave it away ... |

LOL I have and bought one as well from hobby lobby. I tried different lights but nothing worked. Long game up on that idea. I also tried my laser beams from my paintball guns. You need to get the room smokey to see the beams but they do reflect off of mirrors =) |

That is strange - there were 342 entries a couple of hours ago, and already we are down to 284. Either Slippy is right and the images are melting off the website, or, like Alionic, people are withdrawing their images to avoid the embarrassment of brown.

I just thought of another idea to challenge for the worst photo on DPC. Would a brown triangle stain in my whitey tighties gurantee one? |

Oddly, this *is* one challenge I think I'm going to skip, though I have a tolerably decent photo for it. I'm afraid I was thinking that before Strikeslip posted, though. :P
If I don't change my mind, I'll post my shot after the entry deadline for people to look at and let me know if I made a mistake. It's visually somewhat interesting, but I basically didn't find it as compelling as either of the shots in my last two challenges, neither of which did particularly well (5.1-ish).
Oddly, despite the fact that I'm sitting slightly under 5.1 right now in the current challenge, every single comment has been positive. Go figure.

I think you should go ahead and enter it. I took a crappy night shot and entered it simply because I took the trouble to drive out to a potentially dangerous area late at night & set up a tripod. Although it's not scoring well, I've had lots of nice comments & it gives me a reason to hit the update button along with my Five entry.
So go ahead, enter it, it doens't matter, everyone's entries will be equally destroyed by incredibleness of my entry! |

Three hours to go! I'm going to relax with some ginger ale and chocolate mud pie while I watch Amazing Race. But in the back of my mind I'll be thinking about the mass destruction I'm goin to see here tomorrow morning!

After a frustrating week trying to find a triangle (I don't think in triangles!) I gave in. And there it was - my shot for the brown! Yee hee!
I had a blast with this one after all the frustration this past week so I am extremely happy. (snoopy dance! snoopy dance!)

I took the plain vanilla route, not wanting to horn in on slippy's moment in the sun. I will happily sit back and watch the 4's and 5's roll in, while trying to sleuth out which "masterpiece" belongs to the man of a million faces (all of them inane).

I'm very exited about my entry.....and that's why I'm thinking of pulling it.
Well, I'm not that excited but it's a good photo....a decent photo but the subject might not have that certain DPC "je ne sais quoi," that's all the rage.
Should I pull it???
Yes...NO...yes...NO...yes....Noooooo.
Ok....I'm IN!!!!
