Okay, so there's already a thread about the wedding HERE but I'd like to get some feedback on the shots I took. I posted them in my latest comment on the other thread. Please keep in mind I've never shot anything "professionaly". This wedding was my first serious gig. Usually I just photograph friends and family for fun. It was extremely fast-paced and a little hecktic, but I hope some of these shots will work for them. It was a military wedding, so the groom was in his Marines uniform and the bride was in her wedding dress.

Good thing for you! I know what you must felt. I'm doing my first pay job, also a wedding, in the 22th of this month.
Good job by the way, for the look of the poste photos.

I left you a few comments, look forward to seeing more when you finish editing them... I took photos for my friend last month..I think you just won me over on the Nikon...Seems to do a good job, well you did too because you knew how to use it:) Its gonna be a tuff decision now when I go to get another camera :) Nikon or Canon...

Bump for Chris. He did an outstanding job, to the point I was actually able to set my camera aside (for short moments) and enjoy my son's wedding and new family additions. You did an outstanding job. Chris pretty much spent the whole afternoon and evening with us. This is something that will remain with me for the rest of my life. (read 'I owe Chris)
If Chris is an indication of the photographers on DPC, then life is good. (Thanks again Chris and I will comment or email you on specific photos.) |
