I joined today the Canon club. After 3 consecutive sony camera that I liked, I thought it was time for the DSLR game so I jumped and bought a 350D. Before that there was days, weeks month of thinking and research and forum post about that lense and this flash etc. There are people here that helped me a lot in the forums and I wanted to thank them. They are: prof_fate, TooCool, Kirbic, nshapiro, bledford, gibun,tadpole, and especially, yido
Thanks to them all they represent well the spirit of DPC. I got a 350D a sigma 18-50 f3.5-5.6 DC, a sigma 70-300 f4.0-5.6 II APO Macro super, a Sigme flash EF 500 DG super, a lexar 1GB 80x professional series and that's about it for now. Now I can scream: YEAH!! I GOT MY DIGITAL REBEL XT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Welcome and congrats! You're going to love that new rig and will have a great time shooting with it.
