I've been trying to work on my photoshop skills lately so today I was going through some of my old pictures from a trip to Big Bend National Park in Texas and decided to give a new look to a few. One in particular I thought had a lot of potential. 
I gave it my best and found the hardest area to work with being the yellow grass in the foreground. Is the dodge and burn completely obvious or does it look like natural cloud shadows? Let me know what you think and give it a shot yourself. A nice black and white might be cool. I left the original a little bigger so there are some extra pixels to work with. Have Fun!

Here's a quick shot at it. That foreground is REALLY blown out in the bright parts, very hard to work with...

They seem ok to me....they do seem to "pop" out on the mountain. But seems ok to me.
