Sorry ... got to get this off my chest.
I just wanted to note that my entry for the Minimalism challenge was not cluttered by noise.
That is a rippling effect of the sun off the water as seen at around 9am from the 40th floor of the office building in which I work. It’s a view of the interior of Monroe Harbor in Chicago and dark dots are mooring buoys.
Here are some other pictures I took that have not been edited:

Oh, well, live and learn. I was hoping for a Pointillist Minimalist sort of idea, but I guess I didn’t carry the idea across too well – it’s too busy. I would have liked to have cloned out the mooring buoys for this shot, but basic editing wouldn’t allow it. I don’t know if advanced editing would have allowed that either.
On to the next challenge â€Â¦ (I don’t think it will do well, but I can’t help it, I like the picture.)
