Ok, what if there was an bi-weekly study.
A detailed discussion on stuff like texture, lighting, dof, color, b&w, ect.,ect..
Have members submit two or three examples of their stuff within the chosen study. Have the pix say 600x600 so as not to make downloading impossible.
Have the studies in thread form, and members then can find out more info about what to look for when taking pix.

| You can already do that. Select a topic, pick some of your own images and write up something about your chosen subject. Ask for input from others and for them to include their own examples etc. |
