As someone who's worked on a couple album covers....

Good photo but it needs something...

The white to the left is "too white" and her eye loses a little focus (this may be re-sample jpg for web issue).

Okay, I added some rough stuff just to show you what I mean. realize it's not production for sure. I cloned a the curly lock of her hair, then converted it to B&W and pasted in kinda a concentric row and made them semi-transparent to dull them down.

It's far from what is needed but might kinda show you what i mean and let you go from there. Wish I had more time to help.

PS - let me know when you've copied said pic and i'll delete it from my portfolio.

WOW! Love the contrast and b&W in this.. Awesome pose with the guitar as well but I guess she has that look to make any image look good..

( a comment it received in it's brief stay.... *lol*...thought i'd forward it too you)

Yeah I liked the edit version of that.. It should make for a nice cover. I think when I buy music I rather see the artist in a soft side like the pose she is in.. Its a nice shot with the b&w for sure..

i couldnt see the edited version but i too thought the white on the left was a bit too harsh...also i would have her place her fingers in a different chord config that the "g" chord...it may sound petty but it always looks like a guitarist is giving you the finger ...a "c" or "f" has a nicer position

It's a great image and extremely well taken photo but she looks a bit disinterested in what she's doing.

Her look alone is fantastic the guitar playing is on theme but together they look only slightly out of sync.

I might be nitpicking but those were my first thoughts.
