Rooster on the bank. Was playing round with the camera at work today with slow shutterspeeds while I was moving. Sony 717, F8.0, IS) 100, 1/4. Would never have thought of playing round like this without the inspiration of people like Skip......he's just one of the many amazing creative people here. Thank you all!!!

This image needs work, but ...it's so much fun trying different ideas out with the camera.

Unique abstract feel. You could almost even use it as a background for studio work. Amazing what you can do just playing around. Keep playing

Skip really is a wonderful photographer and person.
I'm trying to learn from him as much as possible.
As for the panning - Skip and xion really are the champions!
That's a nice tribute, Sue! :-)

Well add me in as one of your fans Skip (and Xion). As to ribbonning, what we need is a blurry challenge!

Great idea for a challenge. I love experimenting with this kind of stuff. BTW, I just added one of skiprow's images to my favourites.

thanks, colette & neil!

a blurry challenge would be pretty entertaining...can you imagine the comments:
. . .dnmtc--not blurry enough, i think i see something in focus
. . .dnmtc--i can tell what it is
. . .nice baby shot, but i doubt if the mother would like it

Haha...that's funny. While I agree it was a bit tacky (only because of the title of the thread), I loved those shots you posted!
