Has anyone with this printer ever received the message that "some of the parts have reached the end of their life cycle.... contact dealer for service...". My printer started sending that message about 50 prints ago, and now it will not print. Any clue what the repair involves or $$$? Debating whether it is time to buy a new printer.... |

I have that printer and have not received any error message like that. Is yours still under warranty? |

The printer is a couple of years old... warranty is expired. |

probably a built in message of some sort that posts after X amounts of prints have been ran... very likely the printer is fine... youll just need a way to reset the message |

Have never received that message. Printer in use since Nov '03. Been through several sets of cartriges. Any idea on how many prints you have printed? Perhaps this is a cycle that I have not met yet.

I estimate I have printed at least 1,000 8.5" x 11" and 300+ 13"x19" prints. |

Nothing wrong with your printer .
It is a build in maintenance counter witch count amount of printed Pages.
Did you try to unplug power cable and PC cable from Printer and wait 30-60 sec .
If not try to power printer and push power switch and paper switch same time and hold 2-5 sec
Or try push paper switch and hold for 2-5 sec
