WOW, I've heard from my sister in Arizona that they look like that coming down in to Phoenix sometimes...never imaging it so HUGE. Thanks for sharing.

IMO, the forces of nature are amongst the most beautiful things to shoot! Good example here!

wow they are amazing, the people and huts look so small. Thanks for sharing, I have never seen sand storms before.

Yes, we get about 1 or 2 of these a year where they come in like a wall like this. Less intense ones are almost daily in July and August.

The thing about dust storms is they generally look a lot more ominous from a distance than what they really are within.
