I mentioned this is another thread but it deserves it's own. I think Browsing Recently Uploaded images may turn out to be the most significant of all the recent upgrades to dpc. I think that in time, many people will look to see what new images have been uploaded just as they now look to see what's new in the forums.

I love browsing. I especially love when the photographer explains the steps taken to achieve the result. Very educational to all of us who are trying to improve our skill level. |

I don't know how long it's been there. But I think it's cool. Now if we could just get people in the habit of entering info, that would make browsing more enjoyable. The admins have made it possible to add the lens. And it's always been easy to specify which camera was used. Is it too much to ask for the photog to fill in the aperture, ISO & shutter speed? That info can help the viewer to learn, and to critique the shot; and it takes less than a minute to fill it in.

This is one of my favorite new things on the site!! I love this feature! And I agree with you Harvey, that is something that would be helpful about adding the details. I for one have fallen into the bad habit of only fillig that info in on Challenge entries. Must get back in the habit of taking the time to do this.
Thanks to the admins for adding this to the site. I know they've got alot on their plates. ;-)
