They try to avoid predictable challenges on holidays because it's well.... predictable. Anything that predictable could be planned ahead of time and cheating could occur.
PS. You do know you could put all your suggestions in one thread, right?

With the number of Exif editors readily available, the concept of having challenges verified using Exif data isn't secure.
While software like Exifer leave tell-tale footprints. I am not convinced more sophisticated programs like Exif Pilot are as easily detected.
Point being, those that cheat will, those that don't, won't.
My idea of the challenges are that they are supposed to be for fun, and for learning. Holiday challenges can provide both elements. |
