Is the calculation right? Or are we required to make 54 more comments than we've recieved?

Sorry, you cannot participate in this challenge due to your lack of commenting. You will need to make 514 more *quality* comments to participate..
I'm guessing if you dont see a similar line then you can submit.
Technically I need 536 so the math is wrong somewhere.

Five or six days ago, there was a thread that pre-announced this challenge criteria - as needing more comments given than received to qualify for this challenge.
It wasn't clear when we had to meet this criteria. |

We will be on the lookout for cut/pasted and possibly other kinds of comment-padding.
I would suggest using the Carnivore system to analyze the comments and figure out which ones are bogus, but I don't think the FBI will rent it to us. |

I assume that the challenge submission page is telling people different things based on if they have enough comments or not???? I'm not seeing any math at all, but I do see a submit button :)

as far as the ribbons causing you voting problems.. My only observation is that I wish I had that problem.. |

clearly there is something taken into account concening the Made to Helpful ratio.
Me:
# Made: 410
# Helpful: 310
# Received: 423
You will need to make 6 more *quality* comments to participate.

Where as the submission statistic is real time and takes all comments into consideration.
