XP media ctr.edition users
With every reboot I have to turn the firewall back on!
Can I prevent this and make it stay on 100% of the time?
Thanks in advance. |

| Don't know if this would work, but it's easy enough to try. Boot up normally. Turn off all options in the security ctr. Reboot and turn everything back on. Then reboot to test. Sometimes settings like this don't stick until you go all the way in the other direction first. |

also its my understanding that you cant have 2 firewalls on the computer. if you have a third party firewall it will automatically disable the windows one

Thanks leonjr for looking that up.
I tried all over the net and didn't see anything.
It's not the msc it's on.
Just a weirdness I guess but drives me nuts because I'm afraid I'll reboot and forget to turn it back on. :) thanks again. |
