thought i should share, i ran up on it today, not a bad camera, i wouldnt mind having one for walk around purposes

still a little bit too big and bulky for a backup walk-around pocket camera.. for me, anyway.

Upgrades from the S1:
5mp as opposed to 3.2
12X optical zoom as opposed to 10X
1.8" view finder as opposed to 1.5"
2.4fps continuous shooting as opposed to 1.7fps
AF assist lamp, as opposed to none
1/3200 max shutter speed as opposed to 1/2000
And supposedly they improved the EVF

but:
It looks like it uses a 58mm adaptor, so adaptor tubes, teleconverters and filters from the S1 won't work on it and it uses SD cards rather the CF cards.

also it has a dig!c II image processor, so thats a big plus in my book
really the only thing it needs is a hotshoe
