With one semester left before graduation, my friends and I decided to make a dvd of our memories. I took some pictures of local Penn State icons for the menu pages today, and was pretty happy with the results - I'd actually like to expand this project to include many more photos that describe State College, PA (history, landmarks, culture, etc.) I've linked the shots I've gotten so far, any comments or suggestions for improvement would be most appreciated = )
Penn State Project
Thanks for looking,

d comment on is the bus one. I like the idea behind it, but it would help if the front was a little bit more focused. Not sure how well that works anyway, since I've never tried that kind of shot, or even know how,if, my camera can do it.
Maybe you and your friends can sell them and make some money. |

Thanks Nathan. The bus shot was taken with an 18-70 lens at 70 mm using a slow shutter speed. I zoomed the lens out to 18 mm during the exposure to create the effect. I should probably have used a tripod to do that, since that's the only shot I had without side-side motion.
