I get the DumbAss of the Day Award!!
I borrowed my Mother's Van to go get her some groceries..
After picking up all the items on her list, I carried the bags out to the parking lot. Opened up the side door and started loading it up.
Was starting to walk to the driver side door , when A lady yelled at me!!
Why did you just put your stuff in my van!!
I looked and I had parked right next to an almost identical vehicle..
We dont lock our doors in this small town, so both vans were open..
I apologized, but she didn't have much of a sense of humor..
To make matters even worse, she started to drive away and I left her side door open a bit, so she had to get out and close it..
I thought it was funny, she didn't!!

LOL, I've had a similar experience. I was driving a rental car, parked it and upon returning got into a very similar car that was parked nearby. I didn't realize I was in the wrong car until I noticed someone else's stuff on the passenger seat. Luckily the owner was nowhere to be seen, so I just slunk out and found "my" vehicle, parked two spaces down.

LOL..thats hilarious
In the small town where I live there are a couple of vans that look almost identical to mine, I've never done it yet, but when I get into my van when I see theres parked close by I have to admit I double check to make sure it is my stuff inside lol. Thanks for the laugh.
That lady needs to lighten up a bit! |

| Never did anything quite like that. On a similar theme, however, my father once accidentally used his car key in the door to his office, and it worked. |

ROFL. I have had a simliar experience here. We have to lock cars here and i was coming out of the supermarket and tried to unlock a car door with my car keys (the ones that beep) I went to open the door and it wouldnt open i was getting really frustrated till i noticed my car was right next to the one i was trying to open and the one i was trying to open wasnt even the same car as mine. It was identical to my previous car. LOL. I am so stupid.

...such are the advantages of driving a butt-ugly car.
There could be ONLY one like it in a parking lot.

| Can't remember for certain, but I think not. Perhaps the office door lock was very worn or something. I do believe he changed it right away. |

We all know mechanics drive the worst cars. You don't have time to work on your own because you are always working on other peoples cars.

| At least you found your car. I come out of the grocery store and forget where I parked. You know how stupid people look when they are pushing a cart of groceries around a parking lot in a seemingly aimless direction? The people around this small town do and that kind of stupid looks like me. |
