I have been going to this same park for over 6 months. Their is a river that runs through it and 2 bridges as well. And several types of wildlife (parrie dogs, deer, geese, ducks, frogs, snakes, birds). I have seen deer scat and deer tracks but never once found them. Today me and singsunshine went to our library and took some minimalistic photo's. Then went to this park. Right off the bat we ran into 2-3 doe's. Could never really see them through the brush so we walked around behind them near a 4 lane highway. Stood 8-10 yards from a doe...got decent pcitures but nothing fabulous. Moved on along a road and came across this buck. Still has his velvet on but I am sure he will soon rub it off. Then we went down to where the highway goes over the bridges, because their is good grafitti underneath. Their was nothing their so we went back and did not see the deer. We went to where we park out car and saw the deer across an open field. The feel is 75 yards by 125 yads. Just prarrie dogs everywhere and low weedy grass. We were trying to walk up on the deer and I felt something under my legs. I jumped about 5 feet in the air when I saw the snake. I dunno what kind it is but I would say a corn snake or gopher snake. Was about 4 feet long. Took several photo's but this is the only one that was decent. Then we went to our musem and took more minimalistic photos.

So we had a good day photographing stuff and will never complain about not finding anything here. Just have to be persistant.
