You probably need to update the RAW converter. There is a download on Adobe's site, the current version is, I believe, 2.4

Oh lovely, I see that Adobe has replaced the RAW Converter download with v 3.0, which i sspecific to CS2, and is NOT compaible with CS. I guess that means no more RAW converter updates for those of us with CS. Grrrr.

You need to go to the Adobe site and download the updated RAW plugin.

It's here for Windows(CS): //www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=2701

Here for Mac(CS): //www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=2705

Hah, too easy for me, LOL. I tried from the RAW Converter Update" link on the "Digital Imaging" main page. the link is still labeled as the "January 2005" update, which should be 2.4, but actually takes you to the CS2 "version 3.0" page.

MK....... did you go to the Walker for the opening? I did not go, but if you did... are you going to post some pics in Hyperbolic?

I didn't go. (And I'm also mostly posting my stuff here now out of laziness.)

But Wisconsin...are you in a camera club?

Just to point out, even after I downloaded and installed the RAW converter, I still have to open the file through the file browser. I can't just click on it and open for example.

I go to the Western Wisconsin Camera Club. We meet the first and sometimes third Wednesday of each month at the Phipps in Hudson. PM me if you want more details! I'd love to have more digital folks in the club. (Except I'm going out now so I'll respond later.)

If you associate RAW files with Photoshop, you can click on them and have them just open.
