I have a question. I was printing a photo and when it was done printing I got a message that I needed to replace the photo cyan and photo magenta. I replaced both cartridges and then went to the BJ printer utility to check the in levels and it shows that the photo cyan and photo magenta are low. I click the update button but it still shows low.
Any suggestions how to get the ink levels back to full?
Thanks

Be careful of the messages to change the cartridges. They error on the side of caution so they do not run out and normally the message pops up a fair amount of time before the cartridge is actually out or low. I normally run mine even if it says it is low and always finish at least one more print job when it says it is out. Ink is their money maker.

Thanks everyone!
Stupid me, replaced the cyan and magenta not the "photo cyan and photo magenta"
As soon as I replaced the correct cartridges, the ink levels appeared correctly!

Yes - on my Canon i9100, I can usually ignore the low/out of ink warning once (sometimes twice) before replacing the cartridge. This experience is based on printing 8x10 prints though, and I always visually inspect the ink level in the sponge part of the cartridge before proceeding. |
