Sorry about the title of this thread, if you came here for help believe me it is the other way around.

I'm new to digital and of course every day that I learn something new it seems as though there are a million new questions to ask. I have been playing around with the curves feature in Photoshop...emphisis on "Playing" it does some neat stuff and pretty things but I haven't got an idea on what it is used for or how to control it to make it useful..Please I need insight on this....I'm sure that it is the missing link to make my photos be better.:-)

Thanks for the quick reply....and especially the useful website. I'm sure this is a good start for me and more questions will be in order later.(or is that sooner?:-))

By the way I checked out your photos and I think you have some great stuff going for you....keep up the good work...
