I took my new 300D out for a test drive today, and got this shot. I'm really happy about it. Thrilled, in fact.
I was hoping for some critiques from my fellow DPCers. I'm always trying to learn something new...

Yes, I used natural light. This flower is in a planter outside my front door. The background is a piece of white paper.
