Hi. A quick question for you. Does the Macro mode on the camera work without a Macro lens. I have tried it and all it seems to do is limit the functions available. Thanks |

Macro mode on a DSLR does nothing but set the aperture to the proper diameter to get a good macro shot. You can do this yourself in aperture and shutter priority or in manual mode. You still need a macro lens, or some other alterative to get a macro shot. |

Thanks mate. I kinda thought that but wasn't sure. Now I need to save my pennys for a closerange macro lens as the Sigma lens I have only macros between 200 and 300mm.
