I had this toy violin laying around the house and finally decide to shoot. How did I do?

I like it, but it's a little too red and the background lighting in the lower left seems to bright and blueish.

I tweaked the curves and saturation on the red channel and darkened the blue channel. I'm no BradP, but what do you think of these edits?

Also, the stick with the strings on it (I'm sure it has a fancy name, but I don't have a clue), looks very clunky - otherwise the image could fool me into thinking it's a Sagiittarius- er, I mean Stratospherius... no, wait... STRADIVARIUS! Yeah, that's it.

I liked the shadows on it. You are right about the blue. The strings I assumed were blue as its a toy.

The strings were blue becasue it is a toy but the color of the violin is closer in the revised photo. The only thing I miss in the revised one is the shadow on the left side of the violin. Thanks for the comments

If anyone cares, the "stick with strings" is called a "bow", says your resident deaf musical bear.

Robt.

Thanks Robert! I knew it was something fancy and exotic or technical. :)

That's quite a wide flow-er (the river that flows).
